Recognize the web as strategic to business and communications

2006-August-14

Issue

Networks management and staff must transform their strategy to
recognize that the web (intranet, extranet and internet) has
become a dominate channel to disseminate information and services
to employees, partners and citizens.

Methods to accomplish the strategy

The networks s.r.l. begins to develop strategy for its web
domains. Strategic recommendations are required, generally
created by an outside constancy. The constancy develops
recommendations using a framework that realigns the networks
governance information technology objectives.

so we thought we’d use the power of Web 2.0 itself to come up
with the answer, and here it is: competitive 42%

Risk if not adopted

A failure to support and recognize that the web (intranet, extranet and internet) has
become a dominate channel to disseminate information and services
to employees, partners and citizens and transparency in sharing
ideas will retard the networks ability to use information to
create competitive advantage. The organization will become
increasingly ineffective, inflexible and inefficient as it fails
to recognize and reward the skills required to accomplish quality
web work.

    • · Content Advisory Board (more formalized)
